Your ID.me Wallet displays all the cards you’ve added to your Wallet. For example, a card displays after you verify your identity with ID.me or when you verify you belong to a community, like active or former military, teachers, students, and other communities. You can also add a discount card, like the ID.me Rx Card, to your wallet. This article explains how to use your ID.me Wallet.
Before you start
- For quick access on the go, sign in to ID.me to view and manage your Wallet.
- You can also download the ID.me Wallet app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. For Apple iOS, our app is supported in iOS 13 and above. For Android, we support OS 6.0 and above.
What’s in your ID.me Wallet
Your ID.me Wallet is a lot like a physical wallet you might carry. You get to choose which cards display in your Wallet.

There are different types of cards available:
- Verified identity - Shows we verified your identity. The steps you will take to verify depend on the organization you are verifying with. For example, you might verify with the IRS or a specific state government agency.
- Community - Confirms you are part of a professional or educational community, like a teacher, student, First responder, or nurse.
- Rx Card - Show the pharmacist your ID.me Rx Card information to save up to $95 per prescription. Learn more about ID.me Rx, a free program that helps our users save money on their prescriptions.
- COVID-19 vaccine - Shows COVID-19 test results and proves you received your COVID-19 vaccines.
