How do I refresh my screen?

While waiting for an ID.me Trusted Referee, you can choose to refresh your browser periodically in order to see an updated wait time and ensure your device stays connected to the internet.

Refreshing your screen will not cause you to lose your place in line.

Steps to refresh your screen on iPhone:

Using Safari Browser

  1. Go to the top right corner of your screen. 
  2. Look for the Refresh ⟳ icon. 
  3. Select to Refresh ⟳ as shown.
If you do not see a toolbar on your screen, simply scroll up or down to see it.

Using Google Chrome Browser

  1. Go to the bottom right corner of your screen.
  2. Look for the ••• Three Dots icon and select it to open the menu.
  3. Locate and select the ⟳ Reload button as shown.
If you do not see a toolbar on your screen, simply scroll up or down to see it.

Steps to refresh on Android:

Using Google Chrome Browser

  1. Go to the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Look for the ⋮ Three Dots icon and select it to open the menu.
  3. Locate and select the ⟳ Refresh button as shown.
If you do not see a toolbar on your screen, simply scroll up or down to see it.

Using Other Internet Browsers

  1. Go to the top right corner of your screen.
  2. Locate and select the ⟳ Refresh button as shown.

Some browsers also allow you to 'pull' down from the top of the screen, then release.

Steps to refresh on Laptops and Computers:

Option 1: Select the ⟳ Refresh Button

At the top of your screen, look for the ⟳ Refresh button like the one below. Depending on the browser, you can normally locate the Refresh ⟳ button next to the URL address in the toolbar at the top of your screen.

 

Option 2: Use Your Keyboard

Mac Users

On your keyboard, hold down the command ⌘ key, then the R key, and then release both keys.

Windows PC Users

On your keyboard, hold down the CTRL key, then the R key, and then release both keys.
