You may have created your ID.me account using an email address you no longer have access to. Even if you lost access to the email address you use for your ID.me account, you may be able to sign in if you remember your password. This article explains how to try to sign in again.
Sign in to your account
To try and gain access to your account:
- Go to the ID.me sign in page.
- Enter your account's email address. For example, it could be an email address you no longer have access to.
- Enter your password. If you’re unsure, think of passwords you frequently use.
- If prompted, complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Tip: To avoid future log-in issues, change the email address to an email you have access to. We also recommend adding a second email address to your account.
When to contact support
If you can’t reset your password or complete MFA, contact ID.me Support.
