Service Members, Veterans, Retirees, Military Spouses and Military Family Members are eligible for Troop ID. To select the appropriate group, please reference the following criteria.
Service Member - You are currently serving
A current member of the armed forces, whether it be Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve.
Veteran - You have served before
Any former member of the armed forces who was discharged or released under conditions other than dishonorable, and served less than 20 years cumulative time in service.
Retiree - You retired from the military
Any former member of the armed forces who is entitled, under statute, to retired, retirement, or retainer pay. Examples include, but are not necessarily limited to, 20 or more years of cumulative time in service or being 100% medically retired.
Military Spouse - You are married to someone who is/was in the military
The current husband or wife of the Service Member, Veteran or Retiree as defined above. This includes Surviving Spouses who can verify as a Military Spouse (but using your information in the place of the deceased service member).
Military Family - Your father, mother, son, or daughter was in the military.
An immediate family member of Service Member, Veteran, or Retiree (extended family members are not eligible by this definition).
NOTE: Partner brands and organizations may not extend certain offers to military family members. For example, an Active Duty Troop ID holder may be eligible for an offer while a Military Family Troop ID holder may not be eligible for the same offer. Accepted affiliations are always at the discretion of the brand/organization.
