Looking for steps to report missing Cash Back?
If you don't see the purchase in your account, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
Some travel-related purchases may not show until you complete your trip (for example, air fare or car rental).
You may not have originated the purchase from the ID.me Shop.
Your browser may not be configured to accept cookies.
You may have canceled or returned your order.
You may have made changes to your order directly with the retailer. Most modifications and changes to your order will cancel the original ID.me Shop transaction and result in no Cash Back.
You may have used additional discounts, coupons, gift cards, etc., which cannot be combined with our Cash Back program.
- The retailer might not recognize the purchase as complete. Contact the retailer directly to confirm that your purchase was processed. If the retailer confirms that the purchase was processed, please contact ID.me Support for further assistance.
Other factors can interfere with earning Cash Back
Security software and firewalls
- If you use software that blocks cookies, ensure that it is set up to allow cookies from ID.me and our partners.
- Use the most current version of your internet browser.
- Do not use your browser's "private browsing" feature when making your purchase.
Spyware or adware
- Spyware or adware can interfere with your online shopping experience. There are many free adware/spyware detection, removal, and protection programs you can download online to check for and protect you from these malicious programs.

If you do not see a purchase in your account, you may file a Missing Cashback inquiry. Missing cash back inquiries must be reported within six months from date of purchase, and be submitted no sooner than 72 hours following purchase.
Report missing Cash Back
Visit your ID.me Shop account.
In the upper right corner, select the My Cash button
In the Next Payment section, fill out the fields under Report Missing Cash Back, then Submit.
