Why is there a deduction in my Cash Back account?

ID.me receives purchase information directly from retailers.

You may see a deduction from your Cash Back account when:

The item was returned or the order was cancelled. Cash Back is not issued for returned items.

The item purchased was exchanged. If the replaced item is ordered through the ID.me Shop, then Cash Back can still be rewarded.
