The difference between cash back and a discount

Cash back is a percentage of the commissions we receive from retailers as a marketing partner, paid to you, our customers, for shopping through the Marketplace. Cash back is paid out quarterly, via American Express Serve cards, to anyone who has accumulated at least $10 in cash back.

Discounts immediately reduce the purchase price by a set dollar amount or by a percentage of the total price. All of our offers are discounts, either in purchase price or shipping cost, saving you money right away when compared to other purchase methods. Be sure to check the Terms and Conditions for the merchant for any restrictions or exclusions.
