If you don’t receive cash back on a specific purchase, the most likely reason is that your purchase didn't settle by the end of the quarter. This payment will be issued with your payment the following quarter.
Other potential issues could exist based on the qualifications of the purchase. To qualify, all purchases must be made through a link from the ID.me Shop. If a deal is found through ID.me Shop and purchased later directly with the retailer, you will not qualify for cash back. Additionally, layering coupons/deals may affect qualification for the purchase. Be sure to check the retailers Terms & Conditions before using multiple coupons or rebate offers.
There are also many factors that might interfere with your purchase earning cash back:
- Security software and firewalls that block ID.me’s cookies will prevent ID.me from tracking your purchases. If you are using software that blocks cookies, ensure that it is set up to allow cookies from ID.me and our partner sites.
- Internet browsers that do not allow the creation of cookies will prevent ID.me from functioning correctly. Use the most current version(s) of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Due to the number of third party browsers available, we cannot verify that any browsers beyond this list will work properly with ID.me.
- Using a browser’s "Private Browsing" feature at any point in the shopping process can render your purchase ineligible for cash back as this feature prevents cookies from ID.me and our retail partners.
- Spyware or adware programs can cause your online shopping to be reported as having come from another company. There are many free adware/spyware detection, removal, and protection programs you can download online to check for and protect you from these malicious programs.
