The first time you access a discount or offer, ID.me will inform you of which pieces of your data the site will receive. We will then ask you to give your consent to share that data before you claim your offer.
ID.me limits the information its partner websites and brands can request to fields that are directly associated with your group status or deal eligibility. For example, an ID.me user claiming a military discount may be asked to share their first and last name, email, and group association. Other information collected during verification, such as social security number and address, won’t be shared with the retailer.
You decide whether or not you wish to release that information, or to keep it private. If you decide to keep your information private from a particular partner, you may be deemed ineligible for their deal(s).
You can revoke a brand’s access to your information at any time.
