If there is a change in your phone service (for example, if you deactivate or upgrade your phone, or change providers), you may need to make updates to the multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods that you have set up for your ID.me account.
Steps to update your MFA settings:
1. Begin the sign-in process. When the screen below is displayed, do not select Continue. Instead, select the link at the bottom to update your settings here.
2. Follow the prompts to confirm your email address and verify your identity.
3. You can then re-select your MFA option(s).
