If there is a change in your phone service (for example, if you deactivate or upgrade your phone, or change providers), you may need to make updates to the multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods that you have set up for your ID.me account.
To update your MFA settings:
1. Begin the sign-in process. When the screen below is displayed, do not click Continue. Instead, click the link at the bottom to update your settings here.
3. You can then re-select your MFA option(s).
