If you select Text Message or Phone Call for multi-factor authentication (MFA), you will receive a text message or (audio) phone call when you sign in to your ID.me account.
To set up Text Message or Phone Call for MFA, sign in to your ID.me account, and click the Sign In & Security tab.
Follow the prompts on the screen below. For more information on this MFA option, click here.
NOTE: You may also wish to copy or download your recovery code. This code is optional, but it can help you access your account if you have trouble with MFA.
