Start on the iPrescribe app, then you will be connected to ID.me. (For questions about the iPrescribe portion, contact them at 1-866-263-6512 or iPrescribe@DrFirst.com.)
After you connect to ID.me, follow these steps:
Step 1: Sign Into, or Create, Your ID.me Account:
Visit ID.me, and click My Account. Then....
- If you already have an account, or have already verified your identity for another healthcare IT provider, click Sign In.
- If you do not have an account, click Create an ID.me Account. (You will be asked to confirm your email address.)
Step 2: Secure your account:
Secure your account with an additional layer of security via two-factor authentication (2FA) also known as multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Step 3: Verify your Identity:
You will be presented with options of how you may choose to verify your identity. These options may include: Driver's License, Passport, Passport Card, State ID Card or questions based on your credit history. Follow the prompts to verify your identity.
Step 4: Medical Credential Check:
iPrescribe has chosen to have ID.me verify your medical credentials. Provide your NPI number and/or DEA number (with schedules) as prompted.
Step 5: Share Your Data With iPrescribe:
Click Allow to share the data attributes listed on the Consent screen with iPrescribe.
