If you can’t remember your current password to access your ID.me account, you can have reset instructions sent to your primary email address.
Steps to reset your ID.me account password:
1. Visit ID.me and select "My Account," then "Sign In." |

2. Select "Forgot Password" as shown on the right. |

3. When prompted, provide the primary email address for your ID.me account.ID.me will then email you password reset instructions. Click here if you no longer have access to the email address or phone number used to create your account. |

4. Follow the password reset instructions in the email. |

Your case-sensitive password must be at least 8 characters long, and contain at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one number.
