If you created your ID.me account during the process of verifying your identity for access to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) websites, you will not receive marketing emails from us. However, you may receive other types of administrative emails, to confirm your email address or if you change multi-factor authentication settings, for example.
Some users who sign up for access to Veteran Affairs websites may already have an ID.me account to use for identity verification. If that account was originally set up in order to receive an offer or discount, you may have opted in to receive marketing emails.
Steps to stop receiving notifications about ID.me deals and discounts:
- Visit your ID.me Account page.
- Look for the My Preferences section, and select Manage My Preferences.
- Select to clear the desired checkbox, or select Unsubscribe All to end all email subscriptions.
