If you created your ID.me account during the process of verifying your identity for access to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) websites, you will not receive marketing email from us. (You may receive other types of administrative email; for example, to confirm your email address or if you change multi-factor authentication settings.)
However, some users who sign up for access to Veteran Affairs websites may already have an ID.me account to use for identity verification. If that account was originally set up in order to receive an offer or discount (for example, a Military affiliation discount from Luxottica or Apple), you may have opted in to receive marketing emails.
To stop receiving notifications about ID.me deals and discounts:
- Visit your ID.me My Account page.
- Look for the My Preferences section, and click Manage My Preferences.
- Click to clear the desired checkbox, or click Unsubscribe All to end all Email Subscriptions.
