Cash back for travel purchases

Cash back for travel purchases often take longer to be added to your cash back balance. This article explains the timing of travel-related cash back. 

Timing

When you book airline, hotel, car, or other travel bookings through ID.me Shop, cash back may not be credited until after your trip is completed.

Even if your credit card is billed at the time of booking, the travel company must still confirm that the travel has taken place before ID.me is credited for your booking. After you have completed your travel and we have received confirmation from the travel company that your trip is completed, your cash back for eligible travel purchases will be credited.

Note: The length of time between the time your travel is completed and ID.me is credited with your travel purchase can vary by travel company.

Report missing cash back

Report missing cash back if a travel-related purchase does not appear in your account within 6 months of the completion of your travel.
