When verifying your identity on a Trusted Referee Video Call:
1. ID.me requires you to upload a digital copy of your document(s) using either your smartphone or choosing a file from your current device. |

2. ID.me will review your documents. If your documents are acceptable, you will receive an "Action Required: Join a video call" email. |

3. If your documents are not accepted, you will receive an "Action Required: Update your document(s)" email. |

|
4. Read the email carefully to see which document(s) were rejected and why. |

5. If you need to use a different document(s), refer to our list of acceptable primary and secondary documents for Trusted Referee video calls. |

6. Gather and ready your document(s). |

7. In the "Action Required: Update your document(s)" email sent to you by ID.me, select Upload another document.Once you select Upload another document button, you may continue to upload your document(s). |
