1. Sign in to your ID.me account.

If you don't have an account, sign up for an ID.me account. Confirm your email by clicking a link sent to your inbox or entering the six-digit code, then proceed to Step 2.

2. When you are asked to choose a verification method, select the ID with which you would like to verify.

You may use your Driver's License, State ID, Passport, or Passport Card.

3. You may take a photo using a smartphone or upload an image of your document from your current device.

If you're completing this process on mobile, please be aware that you will need to return to the previous tab once you finish uploading your document. 

Select Try with a different method if you see a “We couldn’t read your document” message on your screen. This will take you back to the beginning of Step 2. Make sure your photo is clear, well lit, all the information is visible, all four corners are visible, and the photo is not blurry. 

4. Review and confirm your information and select Continue.

Once you have completed verifying your identity, you will be asked to confirm your information. Review the details and make sure that they are correct.

5. Select Allow to complete verifying your identity.

This will allow ID.me to share your identity information with the organization. From here, you will be prompted to continue verifying your COVID-19 and/or Health Status using either:

• Proof of vaccination
• SMART® Health Card
• Health questionnaire
• Negative COVID-19 test results
