ID.me is partnering with Sterling Identity to provide In-Person Verification (IPV) at select state workforce agencies. Only individuals who receive an email invitation may verify their identity in-person. If your state workforce agency offers IPV, please check your email inbox, spam, and junk folders for a "Get Started" email from ID.me to see if you were invited. If you don't see an email invite, please contact your state workforce agency.
Am I eligible for In-Person Verification?
ID.me’s IPV solution will only be available for individuals who received an email invitation from ID.me. You must first get approval from your state workforce agency before attempting to verify your identity in-person.
If your state workforce agency offers IPV and you didn't receive an email invite, please contact your state workforce agency.
Currently, ID.me In-Person Verification is invite-only at select state workforce agencies.
