The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) works with ID.me to verify NGA users requesting information online. This article explains how to use your ID.me account to access the NGA application for work purposes.
Sign in to NGA
If you already have an ID.me account, sign in to your account:
- Go to the ID.me sign-in page and enter your email and password, then select Sign in.
- Add your work email to your ID.me account if you haven’t already. Learn how to add a work email.
- Go to the NGA application you’d like to access.
- Select Sign In with ID.me, then sign in with your ID.me account and complete multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- If required, follow the prompts to provide any additional information.
- From the Authorize screen, review the information that NGA will receive and then select Allow to consent to share that information with them.

Verify for NGA
If you’ve never had an ID.me account, you’ll create an account before verifying your identity. Add both your personal and work email addresses to your account. After you create your account, you’ll verify your identity:

ID.me can help if you have trouble signing in to your account or verifying your identity. Common issues include:
- Signing in to your account

- Fixing rejected documents
- If you're unable to verify, you may need to finish verifying on an extended video call.
