Steps to verify for the National Cancer Institute:
1. Go to the NCI Identity and Access Management page and sign in with your active CTEP-IAM username and password. |

2. In the Personal Information section, find the ‘ID.me Information’ tab and select ID.me Create an account. |

3. Sign in to your ID.me account.If you've never set up an account with ID.me, select Create an account to begin. Do not create more than one account. |

4. Confirm your email address. |

5. Select a multi-factor authentication option (MFA). |

6. Verify your identity.Select Driver's License or State ID, Passport, or Passport Card to upload. You can take a photo with your smartphone or upload a file from your computer. |

7. If you selected Take a photo with your device, follow the onscreen prompts.When prompted, enter your phone number. ID.me will send you a link via text message to take photos of your ID. |

8. When prompted, take and submit a selfie. |

9. Enter all other requested information, including your Social Security number. |

10. Review your information and select Yes to confirm it is accurate.After ID.me verifies your identity, you will receive a confirmation text message as a way to protect you from fraud. |

11. At the end, select Allow and Continue to share your identity information with NIH NCI. |
