Indeed is working with ID.me to verify applicants' status as government employees for free resume reviews; use the following three-part article to guide you through ID.me’s identity verification process.
If you have an ID.me account, skip to Verifying your government affiliation. If you have already verified your government affiliation, skip to Accessing Indeed’s Resume Review.
Signing into ID.me
A. If you already have an ID.me Account, go to www.id.me and select My Account to enter your login information to Sign in with ID.me and continue to Verifying your government affiliation.
B. If you do not have an account, please sign up to create one. Once you have confirmed your email and set up multi-factor authentication, continue to Verifying your government affiliation.
Please do not create more than one account.
Verifying your government affiliation
1. Once you are logged into your ID.me Account, navigate to the "My IDs" section and select Manage IDs. |

2. Find the "GOVERNMENT" card and select Add. |

3. Select how you would like to verify your government affiliation.From your ID.me account, you may verify with a government email, or by submitting valid documents. |

Once your government affiliation has been verified, follow the steps below to access Indeed's Free Resume Review. |
Accessing Indeed’s Resume Review
Once you have created an account and completed your government affiliation verification—you can access Indeed’s Free Government Employee Resume Review Promotion by following the steps below.
During this process, you will create an Indeed account using the email associated with your ID.me account. If you already have an Indeed account, you will be able to access Indeed’s Resume Review after Step 7.
1. Navigate to shop.id.me. |

2. Enter “Indeed” into the search bar and select the Indeed logo. |

3. Scroll down to select Shop Now under where it says “GOVERNMENT.” |

4. Scroll down and select Verify with ID.me. |

5. Select Government when you are asked "Which group best describes you?", then select Continue to sign in. |

6. Sign in using your ID.me login information.If you do not have an ID.me account, select Create an ID.me account. Do not create more than one ID.me account. |

7. Select Allow to share your information with Indeed and continue to your Resume Review.You can revoke access to this information at any time. |

8. Confirm that the information Indeed received is correct, and select Continue. |

9. Confirm your email address by selecting Confirm your Indeed account in the email you received from Indeed. |

10. Create a password for your new Indeed account and continue to access your free Resume Review. |
Already have an Indeed account?
If you already have an Indeed account with the email address associated with your ID.me account, you will not need to confirm your email address or create a password as shown in Steps 8 and 9 of Accessing Indeed’s Resume Review. Instead, you will sign in with your Indeed password, as shown in the video above.
