As an IRS technology provider, ID.me helps verify your identity for accessing IRS applications like Form 990-N (e-Postcard) . Follow the steps below to log in to the Form 990-N Electronic Filing System or QI Portal with your ID.me account.
Log in to Form 990-N (e-Postcard)
- Go to the IRS sign-in page for the e-Postcard application you need.
- Select Sign in with ID.me to sign in to your existing ID.me account or create a new account.
- Enter your email address and password, then select Sign in, then select Continue.
- Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) or add MFA to protect your account.
- On the “Authorize” screen, review the information the organization will receive and select Allow to consent to share the information.
Troubleshoot Form 990-N (e-Postcard)
- Missing Filing History: If you’ve accessed IRS Form 990-N (e-Postcard) or the QI Portal and don’t see your filing history, ensure that your ID.me account's primary email matches the email address you used with your IRS username.
- You can change your ID.me account's primary email address at any time to resolve this issue.
