If you’re registering for GigEagle and are unable to confirm your military status with ID.me, it means we can’t match the information you provided against the Defense Military Data Center (DMDC) Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) records. Incorrect information can be stored in DMDC for a number of reasons, including an unreported name change or a military branch not providing a timely update. This article explains how to troubleshoot DMDC records and update your military status:
Update your military status
- Go to milConnect.
- Select My Profile and sign in with your CAC or DS Logon.
- Select Update, then select View My Profile.
- Select the “MIL” tab and verify if your information is current and correct.
- Select Submit to add or update any of your contact information.
