Yes! You can still use ID.me Rx if you have insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, or even if you are uninsured. However, the ID.me Rx Card savings cannot be combined with insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. An ID.me Rx discount may only be used instead of insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. Think of ID.me Rx as another independent method to help you save money on prescriptions.
To find out how much you can save using ID.me Rx, compare the price of your prescription using your insurance, Medicare/Medicaid and any other savings program with the discounted rate offered by ID.me Rx (your pharmacist can help!). If the price is lower with ID.me Rx, use your ID.me Rx Card to get the better price.
Remember, if you use your ID.me Rx Card to receive savings instead of insurance or Medicare/Medicaid, payments made in purchasing your prescription will not apply toward any deductible or any out-of-pocket maximums.
