This article provides troubleshooting steps for your MyLowe’s account if your discount isn’t applied at checkout.
My discount isn’t working at checkout
The military discount does not apply to all Lowe’s products. Review the Lowe’s Military Discount Program Terms to see which items are excluded. If the item you’re purchasing is on this list, the 10% discount won’t apply.
Additional reasons your discount might not work:
- You haven't verified your Lowe’s online account.
- Your phone number is incorrect.
- You have a MyLowe’s PRO account.
I couldn’t verify for my military community
If your military documents are rejected, ensure you upload an acceptable military document.
My Lowe’s account isn’t verified
If you verified your military community with ID.me but didn’t complete the verification for your Lowe’s account, the discount will not activate. Ensure you:
- Have a MyLowe’s Personal Account.
- Verify your primary street address.
I’m having trouble with MyLowe’s account
Sign in to your MyLowe’s account
To access the military discount when shopping online, you must sign in to your MyLowe’s Personal Account.
I have multiple MyLowe’s accounts
If you have multiple MyLowe’s accounts, only one can be verified for the military discount. If an older verified account is still active, you won’t be able to verify a new one. For help with account management, contact Lowe’s at 1-800-445-6937.
I’m not sure if I completed by military verification
To confirm your account is verified for the military discount:
- Go to the My Account section at the top right of the screen.
- Your account status should display as Military Discount Verified.
The phone number on my MyLowe’s account isn’t correct
If the discount isn’t applied in-store, check that the phone number linked to your MyLowe’s account is correct. To update it:
- Log in to your MyLowe’s Personal Account.
- Select Account > Dashboard > Manage Address.
- Edit your address and update your phone number.

I only have an in-store MyLowe’s account
You need an online MyLowe’s account to use the military discount. If you have only an in-store profile, follow the steps in Verify for Lowe’s Military Discount to create an online account during verification.
I have a MyLowe’s PRO Account
MyLowe’s PRO accounts are not eligible for the military discount. Ensure you’re using a personal account instead.
