After you verify your identity with ID.me, you can use your ID.me login to access organizations and government services without re-verifying. This article explains how to sign in with ID.me and share your verified information when prompted.
Sign in with your ID.me login
- Go to the website of the organization you need to access.

Select the ID.me button.
Tip: If you can't find the ID.me button, contact the organization you need to access. - Follow the prompts to sign in to your ID.me account.
- Follow the prompts to complete MFA.
- Review and share your information
- Review the information that will be shared with the organization.
- Select Allow to give ID.me consent to share your information. You will receive a text message from ID.me confirming that you used your account to access an organization.
Note: You only need to share your information the first time you access the organization’s site. After that, you can simply sign in.

If the organization you are accessing requires a higher verification level than what you have, you will need to provide additional information. Follow the prompts to complete the necessary verification steps.
