Using IDMe Rx with insurance or Medicare/Medicaid
You can still use IDMe Rx if you have insurance, Medicare/Medicaid, or even if you are uninsured. However, the IDMe Rx Card savings cannot be combined with insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. An IDMe Rx discount may only be used instead of insurance or Medicare/Medicaid. Think of IDMe Rx as another independent method to help you save money on prescriptions.
To find out how much you can save using IDMe Rx, compare the price of your prescription using your insurance, Medicare/Medicaid and any other savings program with the discounted rate offered by IDMe Rx (your pharmacist can help!). If the price is lower with IDMe Rx, use your IDMe Rx Card to get the better price.
Remember, if you use your IDMe Rx Card to receive savings instead of insurance or Medicare/Medicaid, payments made in purchasing your prescription will not apply toward any deductible or any out-of-pocket maximums.
