When starting the verification process from a computer, you'll be prompted to enter your phone number to upload photos of your identity documents. We’ll send you a text message with a link to take and upload your photos. This article explains what to do if you don’t receive the text message.
Use a smartphone
Start the verification process over, using your smartphone, instead of a computer.
Troubleshoot text message issues
If you still don’t receive the text message:
- Ensure your device isn’t blocking text messages from ID.me.
- Ensure your device is connected to the internet or wireless data.
- Enter the phone number of a device you have access to.
Resend the text message
If you’re still on the “Waiting for your photos” screen, select Send it again.
