If you do not currently live in the United States of America, you may still verify your identity via a video call with an ID.me Trusted Referee.
First, you must begin the identity verification process. When you are prompted to “Choose a verification method,” return to this guide and follow the steps below.
Steps to verify if you do not live in the US:
1. Select I don't live in the United States.
2. Enter your personal information.
3. Enter your passport information and your Social Security Number (SSN).
If you do not have an SSN, check the I have never been issued a U.S. Social Security number checkbox.
4. Continue the steps to verify with an ID.me Trusted Referee.
Currently, ID.me does not yet offer international support to all partners. If you are choosing your verification method—and do not see the I don’t live in the United States button—please contact ID.me Member Support for further assistance.
