The Nevada Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation (Nevada DETR) works with ID.me to verify claimants requesting benefits and services online. The article explains how to verify your identity for Nevada DETR.
Sign in to Nevada DETR
If you already have an ID.me Wallet, sign in:
- Go to the Nevada DETR site.
- Select File a claim/Login.

Sign in to your existing Nevada DETR account or select New user? to create one.
Note: If you are creating a new Nevada DETR account, enter the necessary information and accept the User Agreement. - Select Verify with ID.me.
- Follow the prompts to sign in.
- If required, follow the prompts to provide any additional information.
- From the Authorize screen, review the information that Nevada DETR will receive and then select Allow to consent to share that information with them. Otherwise, follow the prompts to verify your identity.

Verify for Nevada DETR
If you’ve never had an ID.me Wallet, you’ll create one before verifying your identity. After you create your wallet, you’ll choose how to verify:
- Self–Service: Upload your identity documents and a video selfie. This self-directed process usually takes 5-10 minutes and guides you through each step on your screen. For step-by-step instructions, visit Verifying your identity with Self-Service.
- Video Call: Upload your identity documents, enter your personal information, then join an ID.me Video Chat Agent on a video call. The agent will compare you to the document you uploaded. For step-by-step instructions, visit Verifying with a short video call.
- In Person: Book an appointment and bring your identity documents and 'Registration Code' to an Identity Network Location at your scheduled time. If you choose the walk-in option, you can visit at your convenience. For step-by-step instructions, visit Verifying your identity in person.
