I can’t sign in to my ID.me Wallet

Can’t log in to your ID.me Wallet? Whether you forgot your password, are having trouble with multi-factor authentication (MFA), or lost access to your email, this article will help you figure out what’s wrong and show you how to get back into your wallet.

Forgot your password?

If you can’t sign in because you forgot your password, follow the steps in Reset your ID.me password.

Note: ID.me no longer supports signing in with Google, Apple, Facebook, DS Logon, or other social accounts. Sign in with your email and password. If you signed up with a social account and don’t have a password, reset your password to create one.

Trouble with MFA?

To reset your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method, you must still be able to sign in with your email and password. Common issues include:

  • Not receiving codes after changing your phone number or device
  • Problems with your ID.me or third-party authenticator app

Can’t access your email?
