If you can’t access the email address linked to your ID.me account, you may still be able to sign in if you remember your password. This article shows what to try first and how to recover your ID.me account if you forgot your password or can't recover MFA.
Steps to sign in without access to your email
- Go to the ID.me sign-in page.
Enter the email address associated with your account, even if you no longer have access to it. -
Enter your password
Try any passwords you commonly use. If none work, you’ll need to work with an ID.me agent to recover your account. -
Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Follow the prompts to complete MFA.
Note: If you’ve changed your phone number or lost access to your device, recover your MFA.
