You may have created your ID.me account using an email address you no longer have access to. Even if you lost access to the email, you might still be able to sign in if you remember your password. This article explains how to try signing in again.
To try and sign in:
- Go to the ID.me sign-in page.
- Enter your account email address
Enter the email address associated with your account, even if you don’t have access to it.
- Enter your password
Enter any passwords you commonly use. If your password doesn’t work, you’ll need to work with an ID.me agent to recover your account.
- Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Follow the prompts to complete MFA. If you changed your phone number or got a new device, you will need to reset your MFA method. Visit Resetting your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method for step-by-step instructions.
