If you no longer want to receive marketing or promotional emails from ID.me, you can unsubscribe in just a few clicks. This article explains two ways to stop getting ID.me marketing emails — either by using the unsubscribe link in the email footer or by updating your preferences in your ID.me account settings.
Unsubscribe using the link in your email
There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every ID.me marketing email. To unsubscribe:
- Open the marketing email you received and select the “Unsubscribe” link in the footer.
- Under “Unsubscribe from all”, check the box next to “I no longer wish to receive any future publications”.
- Select Submit.
Manage marketing preferences in MyAccount
To unsubscribe from your ID.me MyAccount:
- Sign in to your ID.me account.
- Under “My Profile,” select Manage Profile.
- Go to the “Preferences” section.
- Go to “ID.me Deals & Discounts” and uncheck the box. If you’d like to subscribe again, check the same box.
It may take up to three days for changes to your marketing email settings to take effect.
