If you've changed your phone number and need to sign in to your ID.me account or verify your identity, follow the guidance in this article.
I can’t get a code to sign in
If you’re unable to sign in because the multi-factor authentication (MFA) code is being sent to your old phone number, you’ll need to reset your MFA method. This will allow you to set up a new MFA method that uses your current phone number.
To learn how, visit Resetting your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.
I can’t verify my identity
During identity verification, we may have trouble confirming that your new phone number belongs to you.
If this happens, follow the prompts on the screen to verify your identity on an extended video call.
