When signing in to an organization or website you want to access with ID.me, you’ll need to consent to share your personal information. You can find who you’ve given access to, and revoke that access at any time.
Review who you shared your information with
To review who you’ve shared your information with:
- Sign in to your ID.me account.
- From My Account, select Sign In & Security.
- In the side menu, select Privacy.
- Under the "Websites Granted Access" section, review the list of websites.
Note: If an organization or website you thought you verified for isn’t on the list, go to the organization’s website, then sign in to your ID.me account. Make sure to follow all of the prompts, then select Allow when it displays.
Revoke website access
Before you revoke a website’s access, keep in mind:
- After you revoke a website’s access, they will no longer be able to access new information related to your account. However, they can still access any information you’ve already shared.
- Revoking access may result in delays or disruptions to services from that website or organization, as they will no longer be able to verify that you've completed the required verification steps.
To revoke access to your information:
- Sign in to your ID.me account.
- From My Account, select Sign In & Security.
- In the side menu, select Privacy.
- Locate the website name of the website whose access you want to revoke, then select Revoke Access.
- Select Revoke.
