When you use ID.me to sign in to an organization or website, you consent to share certain personal information. You can review which websites or services you shared your information with—and revoke that access at any time.
Websites that you shared your information with
To review which websites you shared your information with:
- Sign in to your ID.me Wallet.
- From My Wallet, select Sign In & Security.
- In the side menu, select Privacy.
- Under the "Websites Granted Access" section, review the list of websites.
Note: If an organization or website you thought you verified for isn’t on the list, go to the organization’s website, then sign in. Make sure to follow all of the prompts, then select Allow when it displays.
Stop sharing information with a website
Before you stop sharing your info with a website, keep in mind:
- The website will no longer be able to access new information related to your wallet. However, they can still access any information you’ve already shared.
- This may result in delays or disruptions to services from that website or organization, as they will no longer be able to verify that you've completed the required verification steps.
To revoke access to your information:
- Sign in to your ID.me Wallet.
- From My Wallet, select Sign In & Security.
- In the side menu, select Privacy.
- Locate the website name of the website whose access you want to revoke, then select Revoke Access.
- Select Revoke.
