You may see an error saying that your email is already being used on another ID.me Wallet. This usually happens if you’ve created more than one wallet, are trying to add an email that’s already in use, or don’t remember registering before. This article explains how to fix the “email already in use” error.
Common “email already in use” errors
You may encounter one of the following error messages:
- “This email is already registered with another ID.me Wallet.”
- “Email not added: This email could not be added because it is either invalid, already associated with another wallet, or you've attempted to add too many emails within a short period of time.”
