How you contact ID.me Support depends on whether or not you can sign in to your ID.me account. ID.me does not offer phone support at this time. There are two ways to contact Support:
Email support
If you can sign in to your account, email Support by submitting a ticket:
- Go to the ID.me Support Contact page.
- Select Contact Support.
- Sign in to your account.
- Choose the drop-down that best describes your issue, and in the “Description” field, include as much detail as possible. This helps us respond with the best next steps based on your situation.
Note: If you are helping a friend or family member verify their identity, the account owner must sign in to their account to submit a ticket.
After you submit a ticket
- You may receive an automated email response from Roy, the ID.me Virtual Agent. If the response doesn’t fully answer your question, reply to the email to work with a live support agent.
- You may receive a brief survey by email about your experience with ID.me Support. This survey only takes a few minutes to complete. We use your feedback to improve how we provide support to our members.
- If you’re not finding emails from ID.me Support in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder.
Start a chat
If you can’t sign in to your account or don’t have an account you can still contact ID.me Support.
Go to the ID.me Support Contact page and select Start Chat.
