   1. Go to the My Account overview on your ID.me account.
   2. Under My Profile, review the name displayed.
2. Determine next steps based on the name that displays

• If your name is correct:
  • Go back and re-enter your personal information.
  • Double-check for typos and ensure that the name you enter matches exactly with what is displayed in your ID.me account.
• If your name isn’t correct:
  • Name change: If you've legally changed your name, request a name change.
  • Typo correction: If there’s a typo in your name, request a correction.
