Managing your ID.me account settings – ID.me Help Center

This article explains how to manage your ID.me account settings.

Go to My Account Overview

To get to MyAccount Overview:

Review the sections below to learn what settings you can manage.

My Profile: Manage your personal account information, including your name, address, and email preferences. Select Manage Profile to update details like your homepage and email subscription settings.
My IDs: View and manage the IDs stored on your ID.me account.
My Logins: Review and update the methods you use to sign in. Select Manage Logins to change your login options.
My Preferences: Control your email subscriptions and homepage settings. Select Manage My Preferences to make any updates.
My Cashback: Check your Cash Back balance if you're part of the ID.me Cash Back program. Select View Cash Back to review your balance or submit a missing Cash Back request.
My Activity: Monitor your sign-in history and account activity. Select View All Activities for detailed insights.

Find and manage personal information associated with your account.

Your Personal Profile includes:

Name: Update your name if there is a spelling error or if you've legally changed your name.
Address: Update your physical address.
Email: View and manage your email addresses. You can add, change, or remove email addresses at any time.

Manage these account preferences:

Default Homepage: Select the default page you’ll see after signing in, such as ID.me Shop or ID.me Government.
Email Subscriptions: Subscribe or unsubscribe from ID.me marketing emails.

Manage settings related to signing in and securing your account.

Security: Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods.
Password: Change your password by entering your current and new password, then select Save.
Privacy: Update your profile, download/manage your data, view websites you’ve granted access to, and review account activities. You can also close your account from this section.
Logins: View and manage third-party logins for your account. Adding logins gives you additional ways to sign in to your ID.me account.
