Managing your ID.me account settings – ID.me Help Center

You can manage your account settings after signing in to your ID.me account. This article explains the settings you can manage.

My Account Overview

After you sign in to your ID.me account, you’ll find an overview of your account, including:

My Profile - Personal account information. Select Manage Profile to update your name, address, email address(es), and default homepage and email subscription preferences.
My IDs - IDs in your ID.me Wallet. Select Manage IDs to view your Wallet.
My Logins - Methods for how you sign in. Select Manage Logins to view and manage how you sign in to your account.
My Preferences - Email subscription and default homepage settings. Select Manage My Preferences to make changes.
My Cashback - Cash Back balance if you participate in the ID.me Cash Back program. Select View Cash Back to view your balance or submit a request for Missing Cash.
My Activity - Sign-in history and details. To view those, select View All Activities.

Find and manage personal information associated with your account.

Your Personal Profile includes:

Name - Your name. If there’s a spelling error or you legally changed your name, you can request an update to your name on your ID.me account.
Address - Make updates to your address.

View and manage your email addresses. You can add, change, or remove email addresses at any time.

Manage these account preferences:

Default Homepage - Choose the default homepage you’ll see after you sign in to your ID.me account. For example, you can choose ID.me Shop or ID.me Government.
Email Subscriptions - Subscribe or unsubscribe from ID.me promotional emails.

Manage settings related to signing in and keeping your account secure.Go to “Sign In & Security” to:

Security - Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods you have enabled.
Password - To change your password while signed in, enter your current password, your new password, then select Save. If you can’t sign in, reset your password.
Privacy - Update your profile, download and manage your data, view websites you granted access to, and other account activities. You can also go here to close your account.
Logins - View and manage third-party logins for your account. Adding logins give you additional ways to sign in to your ID.me account.
